Microvision have developed a tiny projector that they will start integrating into motorola mobile phones in the near future. This will enable us to project our photos, movies etc from our phones onto a blank wall!
At the moment, they have a prototype phone that has a 854 x 480 pixel wide scanner.
Imagine streaming videos from the net via you mobile phone and displaying it anywhere you want…or that impromptu family holiday photo presentation.
Tiny laser-based projectors are expected to enable a “big screen” viewing experience from mobile devices. By projecting content displayed on the device screen onto a wall, object or even a curved surface, mobile users could easily share Websites or multimedia applications such as movies, personal videos, mobile TV, photographs and presentations with friends or business colleagues.
