A man who was shot in the head by a criminal in March 2003 recieved the shock of his life when the guilty party showed up in a bar only 4 years later, shook his hand and apologised for the shooting.
Cedric Thomas was shot in the head by Willie Joe McAdams, blinding him in one eye.
Willie Joe McAdams was released in error because of a clerical error. He was supposed to be serving 40 years in prison but someone forgot the last “0” and he only served 4.
“Somebody dropped the ball, that’s for sure,” Harris County District Attorney investigator Johnny Bonds said.
Willie was arrested again shortly after and will be legible for parole in 16 years.
Its the thought that counts!
