Queen Elizabeth visited the set of Game of Thrones today. Everyone was getting real excited for her to sit on the Iron Throne while she was there.
Unfortunately, she has no sense of humor and wouldn’t do it.
Here’s video of her visit, which pretty much looks as if they bussed people from the local nursing home over to the set.
The only actor I was able to pick out was Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow. That being said, I’m sure there are others that you can pick out. Hard to do when they’re not in costume, unless you look like Jon Snow.
The only reason we were even aware of this magical visit is because John Oliver pretty much eviscerated the monarchy on his show Sunday night.
Unfortunately, we can’t find the video of that.
