If you’re a fan of the movie Predator — and why wouldn’t you be? — this is both an interesting and funny video.
Personally, I’ve seen that movie at least 20 times and I didn’t know until today that Jean-Claude Van Damme was in it.
He’s apparently the guy in the suit in the cloaked Predator shots, as you’ll see in this video. We also learn that Van Damme was under the impression that he’d be fighting Arnold Schwarzenegger and showing off his martial arts abilities in the movie. Not really. He was just going to be running around in a weird looking suit, but no one told him that prior to filming.
He was pissed.
Interestingly, the original Predator had a completely different look than the one that was actually in the movie. Take a look. Makeup artists Steve Johnson discusses the movie with Stan Winston.
