Gravity: The Honest Trailer

Screen Junkies releases videos called honest trailers each week. Here’s the honest trailer for Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity, which stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.

Cuaron is up for a best director Oscar for the film and deservedly so. It’s a pretty great (and terrifying) movie. The honest trailer pretty much makes fun of the whole thing though.

It gives us bits like, Ryan Stone really shouldn’t be allowed in space (true), so terrifying it will convince an entire generation of kids not to be astronauts (true), and Matt George Clooney Kowalski — a George Clooneyish pilot with the charm of George Clooney (true).
