We have all seen the spectacular Omaha Beach scene from Saving Private Ryan. A scene which has been portrayed by hundreds of films over the last few decades. Well, it has probably never been created under such tight deadlines and such measly budget as this one. The results are truly amazing.
A group of 3 very talented graphic designers (motion graphics artists) were given 4 days and a shoe string budget to recreate that famous scene for a documentary on BBC 1 in the UK called Timewatch Bloody Omaha featuring Richard “Crash Bang Wallop..What a Video” Hammond from Top Gear.
Im sure the more resourceful of you over the pond and far away will be able to find a torrent of it somewhere. (hint)
